“Trusted Partners in a Changing World”
The 47th AKBC-KABC Annual Meeting Joint Statement was signed on 2 September 2026, at the 47th AKBC-KABC Joint Meeting in Adelaide.
Eleven years since KAFTA was signed, the Joint Meeting highlighted a commitment to deepen collaboration in energy decarbonisation, AI, critical minerals, rare earths, industrial safety and natural disaster management. Over 200 people attended the Welcome Dinner and 200 key stakeholders the Joint Meeting Conference.

Celebrating the tenth anniversary of KAFTA, the Joint Meeting in Perth highlighted strategic partnerships in critical minerals, defence and green energy transition, including IRA-compliant battery material supply chains and Korea’s growing involvement in Australia’s defence sector.

Mastering the Korean Business Landscape
AKBC offers two streams of training to suit different needs: customised in-house training tailored to an organisation, and open public training sessions through the year, all built around Korean business culture and cross-cultural competency.
